We only ship using the United States Postal Service (www.usps.com). We offer a variety of different shipping methods using their serives. Our entire checkout process is powered by our web hosting service and tied directly in with the USPS. Please be sure to select the correct shipping method that works for you.
International Buyers: If you employ a 3rd party shipping service through a re-shipping facility, VelaCards cannot be held liable for any packages after it has arrived at these 3rd party services. If you do wish to employee one of these services, you must first agree to the terms that are sent to you after we've received your order. We will not ship until you have given us your confirmation of our terms to using these sevices. If you decline, your order will be canceled and you will be given a full refund immediately. If the tracking number that is provided with your order shows that it was received by this 3rd party service, it is considered successfully delivered and VelaCards can no longer be held responsible for it's delivery from that point forward.
International Buyers, please select the correct shipping option: We do provide specific shipping options for both Canada and the United Kingdom. If you do not live in either of these countries, you cannot select these shipping methods and you will delay your order being shipped. Your order could be canceled or simply delayed until we have received the correct shipping amount.
You may return most new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by Velacards within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). There are some exceptions. Please read below.
Refunds on Sealed Product
If for any reason you would like to return any factory sealed product, please contact us with 2 days of receiving your order. After you have been given approval to return the item(s), just return the item(s) in the same condition in which it was originally shipped. Upon receipt, we will issue you a full refund, less any shipping & handling costs. If for some reason the item(s) being returned are due to us shipping you the wrong item(s), we will also refund you your shipping costs. The only condition of not being able to receive a refund on factory sealed products is if you have opened the item(s) and then wish to get a refund. We will not issue any refunds to any orders if you have opened them. No exceptions.
Refunds on Single(s) Cards
Now, card prices change a lot on the secondary market. Typically, we do not accept returns on single cards, mainly because we don’t like the ol’ switcheroo that often times happens. However, there is one exception to this policy.
- All of our orders are double and triple-checked for accuracy before being shipped. However, it is still possible for mistakes to happen. If you accidentally received card(s) that you did not order, simply contact us within 2 days of receipt. Once you are given the go-ahead for the return, you may return the cards in the same condition we sent it, and we will exchange the card(s). In the event that we cannot exchange the card(s), we will issue you a full refund for the purchase price of that card(s). We will also refund all shipping charges associated with the return of the card(s).

Condition of cards
If you’ve gone and looked around our site, you’ll notice that all card singles are listed as “used”. You may be wondering, “Self, why do they do this?” Well, that’s a very good question and we’ve got a pretty good answer for you!
Nobody is opening RAW Deal booster boxes and adding cards to their inventory for sale. We’re certainly not sitting here cracking open packs after packs to add to stock! Over the years we have built up our inventory primarily through buying other player’s collections. Now, when you do this, you’re picking up other people’s cards based on their playing habits. Some people just treat their cards better than others (sleeves, players … That’s what they’re there for!). We always try to make sure that we’re getting good quality cards, but sometimes … Well …
As we’ve purchased collections over the years, we go through them and just weed out those that are in really poor condition. There’s just no way we’ll sell you a card that has tears, writing on them, or have some water damage on them (why are you swimming with your cards, or playing a game at a water park?). We don’t want those in our decks, so we’re not going to expect you to, either.
With all of this being said, everything on our site is sold as “used” and will always be in a condition that we ourselves would be fine with having in our decks. We’ll always send you the best copy of a card we’ve got.
